Where the numbers come from, what lands in your chat, and who LeagueVault is for.
Sleeper and ESPN today. Yahoo Fantasy is next on the list; until it’s ready, LeagueVault can’t read Yahoo leagues.
Type your Sleeper username and pick the league, or paste the league id (the long number in the league’s web address). Sleeper’s data is public, so there’s no password to share.
Paste the league id (the number after leagueId= in the league’s address). Public ESPN leagues work as they are. For a private league, also paste the espn_s2 and SWID cookies from your browser while you’re signed in to ESPN: LeagueVault uses them only to read your league.
As far as the platform still has it. On Sleeper, every season your league was renewed in; on ESPN, every season from 2018 on.
To your league’s Discord channel or Slack channel, through a webhook you paste once. Every recap also comes to you by email, so you can paste it into a GroupMe, iMessage or WhatsApp chat too.
Tuesday morning (around 9 AM Eastern), once the platform has the week’s final scores. You can also post the latest week any time with one button.
The week’s top score and lowest score, the biggest blowout and the closest game, power rankings, a record from your league’s vault, and who’s in line for the last-place punishment.
Every fact in a recap comes from your league’s real scores. The jokes come from LeagueVault’s roast lines in the tone you pick (friendly, trash talk or savage). If you want, you can press “Rewrite with AI” to punch up a recap before you post it; that version keeps the same names and numbers, and you see it before it goes out.
It roasts lineups, scores and records, never people’s looks or lives. Pick “friendly” if your league is gentle.
You write the last-place punishment and its deadline. Every recap names who’s currently in last place and what they owe; when it’s done, mark it served and the chat hears about it.
LeagueVault sends you and your chat a season summary: champion, last place, the punishment owed, and the record book’s highs and lows.
$29 a year for the commissioner, covering up to 5 leagues. The first 7 days are free and need no card.
No. One account, the commissioner’s, covers the league. Everyone sees the recaps in the chat.
On your account page, under “Manage billing”. You keep the plan until the end of the year you paid for.
Commissioners of fantasy football leagues on Sleeper and ESPN who want the group chat still talking in week 12, a record book that survives platform changes, and a punishment that actually gets done.
